DOCUMENT YOUR MERCHANDISING EFFORTS WITH CARE AND SKILL
You and your team have spent weeks planning, building, and finessing your latest merchandising display, so it makes sense to get a photographer who can capture stunning images of your work.
Rory Daniel has worked intimately with leading brands like Chanel, Ralph Lauren and L'Oréal Paris to create images that represent and sell their merchandising ideas visually.
How does it work?
Contact me for a quote, and we’ll settle on a date that works for you.
The day and time we choose is usually strategically right after the install, before any customers get to mess up the display!
We usually shoot after-hours to avoid customers being in the shots and upsetting centre management, Either early in the morning, or at closing are the usual times.
-
Having a member of the merchandising team on hand at the shoot will ensure the products are displayed according to head office specifications, and that every element is at it's best.
Ensuring the windows are clean inside and out prevents any chance of marks on your products or a cloudy effect around your products.
Make sure you contact centre security beforehand to get any approvals.
-
Reflections on your display windows are often overlooked by inexperienced photographers, but they can ruin an image with competitor's logos over your products and unsightly patterns obscuring your set-up.
I have developed a technique to eliminate reflections, and so they are rarely and issue (note, this is less predictable with outdoor facing windows due to wind, but we'll solve this together).
-
You bet they will!
They will reach you fully colour managed with any and every blemish, flaw and scratch removed.
-
It depends on the complexity of your project.
Sometimes I shoot every angle of a new store, often it is just the changeover of a new seasonal window display.
How many images you get will be estimated and negotiated at the quote stage.
-
Every retail store project is different, but I am happy to share what I base my rates around.
Images of seasonal windows for one store: $1,000.
Internal and external Images of a new store (standard size) - 3 hours max: $1,200.
Internal and external Images of a new store (large, multi-storied) - 8 hours max: $2,100.
